This scholarship fund is created in memory of Rosario (Roy) and Rosemarie (Rose) Argento. They were born first generation Americans, in New York City, to Sicilian (Roy) and Neopolitan (Rose) parents. Imbued with a love of God, family and their country, they committed their lives to honoring all three.
Roy and Rose viewed education as an integral part of life and a personal responsibility. This scholarship is created, in their honor, to assist other Italian Americans to pursue their educational aspirations.
Roy and Rose were married 62 years and are survived by their children, sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
